On my MAC I can swipe left to delete an email message but on my iPhone it wants to archive. Can I change that. the 2021 reply on this subject [go the gmail in settings and use Advance Option] didn't apply
On the iPhone, in Settings > Mail > Accounts > [your account] > Account Settings > Advanced, you can select either Deleted Mailbox or Archive Mailbox. Is this not working?
