How can I remove the two red PP's on my Apple Watch?

Today, two "red PP" appeared on my Apple Watch. Internet searches suggest I update the Time Zone using my iPhone. My iPhone has the correct Time Zone - eastern New York. I'm hoping for suggestions on how to remove the two red PPs. Thanks.

Either edit your Watch Face to remove the PP or change the Watch Face. I’m sharing an informative article on changing the >monogram< on the Apple Watch Faces that support the monogram feature.

Tried restarting both iPhone and Watch?

In general:

Update to current iOS and watchOS.

Enable automatic time: Settings > General > Date & Time

Enable automatic timezone: Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > System Services, enable Setting Time Zone

If there is a message about a timezone update available, restart both iPhone and Watch.

Then verify the displayed info: Settings > General > Date & Time > Time Zone

That sounds as if it's an issue with a complication. Can you post a screenshot?

Go to the Watch app on your phone. At the top of the screen, you'll see "My Faces". Tap on the one with the issue. Check what complications are selected.

Hi Jeff,

My initials are SRL, however, I could change my name to "Peter Pan" and then I would no long have a problem!

The "Notifications" settings appear normal.

To All, thanks for listening. I deleted the watch face and recreated it. The PP is gone. I suspect the programmer didn't initialize the variable, which somehow got corrupted.

Thanks to All.

Steve, ala Peter Pan.

First, thank you for your Reply. I sincerely appreciate it. In response:

  1. I am running the current versions of both iOS and WatchOS.
  2. I checked the Time Zone settings and they are set correctly: Automatically update.
  3. "System Services," I can't find this setting and a Search doesn't reveal it on my phone or in the app.
  4. I have restarted both my watch and phone, but the "PP" still appears on the face.

I should add that "PP" only appears on one of my watch faces. I may try deleting and reestablishing it.

Any other thoughts?
