I paid for Instagram Ad boosting with my iphone and I can't find the Apple Pay receipt reflecting the 30% service charge (which is so wild) so hoping someone can help me track it down bc I need to be reimbursed

The only time you get a receipt from Apple is when you make an in-app purchase and it is sent to the email address of your Apple ID, because you are paying Apple. Since there is no in-app purchase for Ad boosting, you were paying Instagram. Apple Pay just transmits the data securely from the card that is used in the Wallet App to the merchant. Apple Pay has no idea what you purchased and will not provide you a receipt. If you are expecting a receipt, it would need to come from Instagram. You will find a list of the transactions on the card that was used by looking in the Wallet app.
