MacBook Air 15" - Dual Screen - Cursor appears higher in the second screen

I've got a 2nd monitor that I placed on the right and it was always working properly when it was running on the MacBook Air 13". I recently changed to 15" and the cursor seemed to not be aligned when I'm working on the 2nd screen. For example: if the cursor is in the middle of the MacBook screen and when I pulled it to the second screen on the right, the cursor will appear much higher on the screen. It's worse when I try to drag a window over, it will get stuck and I try it a few times to drag it over and I think it's down to the alignment issue. I've gone to display and checked the resolution, it's all working fine.

Can anyone help?

Unless two screens have exactly the same pixels per inch (PPI), the mouse crossing point is never going to align in a perfect fashion except at one spot.

Even if they have the same PPIs, you may need to adjust the relative positioning of the displays (Displays Settings) to get the crossing points to line up properly. The Mac doesn't know where your screens are physically located with respect to each other unless you tell it.
