Is there a way to block the links from coming through to my iPhone?

My significant other constantly texts me links from a website he likes. I don’t want to block him but is there a way to block the links from coming through to my phone? They make me crazy because they are very disruptive.

no. You can however tap and hold the attachment >>More and simply delete it from the on-going conversation...

I am not a relationship counsel— but my suggest would be to tell him exactly that:

Asking him not to do it seems to encourage the childish/disruptive behavior unfortunately.

Then, unfortunately, you have problems well beyond technology.

Use Focus to temporarily block them but leave it set so that two calls within three minutes will allow them to get through to you in an emergency. If you're feeling especially adult, warn them that you will be doing this during certain times. You can also enable the feature that lets people know you are not receiving notifications.

And never, ever respond to or comment on messages with links. The childish often stop engaging in attention seeking behavior is no attention is elicited.

I wish you all the best of luck.

Past using Focus, or Blocking, and past sending some filtering feedback to Apple, the crux of this discussion — the text messages are a symptom, not the cause — probably best belongs over on Reddit, or similar. Or in counseling sessions.
