If you don't wish to share your Personal Hotspot with others, simply turn-off Allow Others to Join - and change the associated Wi-Fi Password:
Settings > Personal Hotspot >
- Allow Others to Join - set to OFF
- Wi-Fi Password > Password - change as required - then tap Done
NB: When sharing your Personal Hotspot, you are sharing your Cellular data connection - allowing others to access the internet using your device's Cellular connection. Sharing your Hotspot does not provide direct access to information on your device.
