Why do I need to add a payment again?

So I’m a little confused I pay for Apple Arcade already and although it wants me to verify my current payment method (and says I won’t be charged) it still won’t accept the card or let me download the game😒 what am I paying Apple Arcade for then? Especially if “I won’t be charged” Please make it make sense?

App Store Payment I was trying to reinstall an app that I had played before and it was trying to make me pay for something and kept telling me that my payment method had failed. It doesn’t try to make me pay or verify when I download a game I haven’t played. Just the ones I have played before. It’s getting really frustrating.

“Payment method has already been added to your account.” apple isn’t letting me download anything since they’re trying to bill me. So I tried to download again so I can verified my card to have them just take the money from my account that I “owe them” I put in my card information and I get “Payment method has already been added to your account.” My problem here is I’m not even able to pay it off not even be shown what I’m paying for at the same time. I can’t find no personal way to pay whatever it is I’m being billed. And I checked all my subscriptions and all of them are canceled.

I can't update my app because it will not update my App Store payment method I cannot update my game of Kahn’s game because of a bill I have with apple and I owe money for a different game it will not let me update my game and play it because it will not update my payment method but I don’t have the money to pay the bill it should have never let me overcharge the game to begin with [Re-titled by Moderator]
