Water charging port damage

I put my camera under water in salt water never my port once and then i tired to plug it in and it said warning there’s water in the port so i let it dry for like 20 minutes and then tired it again so then my phone was at one so i did emergency overdrive which i think messed it up even more and now it won’t charge at all and idk what happening

Charging port broken after putting in water. My phone was put slightly in water before I went to sleep. After an hour I charged my phone, hearing a charge sound effect and went to sleep. But I did not realize that it stopped mid-way and did not charge that night. I thought it was dry now after 8 hours so I charged my phone to 100% completely fine. But when I try again, nothing happens. Not even a liquid detected sign. Any help with this?

‘water in charging port’ but it’s just damp? so i’m not actually sure on how water got into my charging port—i’m gonna assume it was from my water bottle sweating or something—but i got the ‘water detected’ notification and immediately unplugged. the charger was wet (somehow?) but when i tapped my phone against my hand, no water came out. i have one of those water eject shortcuts on my phone too, so i used that, and nothing still came out. how long would i need to wait until i can charge my phone again? i need it charged for today.

No iPhone is waterproof. Salt water is very dangerous for any phone. You need to get a new phone.
