Mail screen going off right on closing

Recently when I close mail on my iMac, the screen disappears off right rather than just closing down. Also, this screen doesn't include the toolbar from the top.

Haven't changed anything on the computer so I don't know how to stop it

I clicked on "Exit Full Screen" in View (at the bottom of the list).

The menubar normalized and when I closed Mail it behaved normally.

Think this has solved it.

Appreciate your input as I've learned a lot about using these instructions which I don't normally think of doing.

Thanks

Eric

Using those keys or that position in View certainly shows or hides the toolbar. What I have to do to get the 'Mail...........Help" Menu Bar is use cursor at top of computer screen. Neither of these issues stop the screen moving to the right off the computer screen when I close mail.

Don't know how to attach link to my Control center but Mail is not in the Control Center Modules, Other Modules, or Menu Bar sections.
