Mac Book Pro Auto Power on Malfunction?
My brand new Mac Book Pro keeps auto turning on when I open it or try to wipe off the keyboard or anything like that. Basically if anything is touched on the laptop at all it powers on.
Is there a way to fix this malfunction? Normally I wouldn't care but my renters insurance says very specifically that I agree to not operate any electronics devices that turn on in any other manner than the usage of a power button. This is very unsafe! To my insurance this device is considered malfunctioning and they WILL NOT insure my home with it in there. Yes this is true I directly asked my insurance company.
I am hoping that this can just be easily shut off in settings or some command in the console, if not I have to pack my brand new laptop up tomorrow and return it. Which is disappointing because even tho the auto turn on is a non starter the rest of the product has been above my expectations.
PLEASE help me figure out how to shut this off!
