Minor water spill near trackpad of mac air M2

I spilled one or more drops near the trackpad, and one of them made it into the gap between the trackpad and the rest of the body(the edge of the trackpad). I didn’t observe it and continued to use the laptop for next 20 minutes and shut it down immediately after knowing about the drop.I didn’t know what to do next so I began shaking the laptop lightly to prevent any further damage(I flipped the laptop to upside down position and then left it to gravity).I waited for a day to use the laptop and ran diagnostics offline, which gave no issue. I am thinking of taking it to the centre for further diagnosis. So for the mac is working perfectly.

Should I go to the centre or wait till any issues come up?

FYI, it is best not to tilt or shake the laptop at all since that will just cause the liquid to get onto more internal components. That includes turning the laptop upside down. The best you can do is immediately power off the laptop & give it a long time to dry out. The real damage occurs when liquid makes contact with a powered circuit which starts causing corrosion almost immediately....unfortunately even powering off the laptop still leaves the internal battery powering some circuitry.

At this point if your laptop is functioning properly, then you may as well let it go unless you want Apple to replace the internal components which made contact with liquid. Apple will replace all parts which the tech identifies as showing liquid residue, corrosion, or a Contact Liquid Sensor has been tripped. It is all or nothing with Apple. Liquid damage repairs are usually extremely expensive. Keep in mind the effects of corrosion may not be fully evident for days, weeks, or even months later.
