You might be telling us that the iPhone 6 Plus is currently running iOS 12.5.7.
That is as far as the iPhone 6 Plus can go. There are no more updates for this phone, since the processor in the iPhone 6 Plus cannot handle the demands of newer iOS versions.
It will not be long before most apps will no longer run on the iPhone 6 Plus because the app developers are constantly upgrading their products, which demand more speed and power.
The bottom line......you are going to need a new phone in the very near future. It would make sense to make sure that the new phone is capable of running the next iOS version, which will be iOS 18 in the fall.
