I wrote a document in Pages then condensed it to only 1 pagei nstead of 2. it entded up on the second page which has the page number 2 in the center top. I cannot move the text up nor delete the number. I am open to suggestions.

Place your insertion beam before the very first word in the Pages document. Backspace until you have whacked the hidden page break and your page 2 content has become page 1. The page number should automatically decrement accordingly.
