Stop timer from saving

Is there anyway to stop the timer from saving uses, or to delete ALL "recents" showing up?

Why does every utilized timer session duration have to automatically save to the timer app? The timer app redesign automatically saves every different timer duration, without asking the user. Possibly with the original design, some people complained to Apple that they almost always use only about five or so different timer entries, say 1, 2, 3, 5, or 10 minutes. These people wanted to avoid the work of scrolling the numbers. The option of saving every single different timer duration is at the other extreme from saving no timer durations, which was the previous design. I have to wonder how many people really want to save all the utilized timer durations, and whether it is widely preferred to exchange the previous 'no saves' for the current cluttered look of 'all saves'. There needs to be a setting for shutting off these timer saves, a switch for all or none. Or maybe a default for none, unless Save is pressed for a given timer duration. For what other phone app is every situational need automatically saved, with no option to not to do that? Just asking...
