Why is my iPhone only highlighting 2 pet photos for wallpaper shuffle?

Hi-

so I noticed yesterday that my iPhone only highlights 2 out of thousands of pictures for my pet photo shuffle on the wallpaper. It used to shuffle lots of different pictures. I tried resetting the pet featured button on the settings for photo. Anyone have any ideas or experience?

1. Photo Recognition Issues:

* Incorrect labeling: Your iPhone might not be recognizing all your pet photos as such. Try manually labeling more photos as "Pets" in your Photos app.

* Photo quality: Ensure the photos are clear and well-lit for better recognition.

2. Storage and Performance:

* Limited storage: If your iPhone is running low on storage, it might affect photo processing and shuffling. Free up some space.

* Performance issues: A slow or overloaded device might impact the photo shuffling feature. Try restarting your iPhone.

3. Software Glitches:

* iOS bugs: Sometimes, software glitches can interfere with features. Check for iOS updates and install them if available.

4. Photo Selection Criteria:

* Specific criteria: The system might have certain criteria for selecting pet photos, such as face detection or specific tags. Experiment with different photo angles and compositions.

Troubleshooting Steps:

* Label More Pet Photos: Manually label more pet photos as "Pets" in your Photos app.

* Check Photo Quality: Ensure photos are clear and well-lit.

* Free Up Storage: Delete unnecessary files and apps.

* Restart Your iPhone: A simple restart can often resolve temporary issues.

* Update iOS: Check for and install any available iOS updates.

* Experiment with Photo Angles: Try different photo compositions and angles to see if it affects selection.

* Reset Pet Featured Button: Although you mentioned already trying this, it's worth double-checking.

Unfortunately, there isn't a built-in way to limit the photo shuffle on iPhone wallpapers to just two specific photos. The shuffle feature randomly selects photos from your chosen album or category.

Here are some workarounds you can try:

* Create a separate album: Create a new album in your Photos app and add only the two pet photos you want for the wallpaper shuffle. Then, when setting up the wallpaper shuffle, choose this specific album as the source.

* Favorite the photos: You can favorite your two pet photos in the Photos app. While the shuffle feature doesn't prioritize favorites, favoriting might increase the chances of those two photos appearing more often in the shuffle.
