Wired headphones won’t connect to my phone, but work on other phones

My Iphone 11 port charges but when i pay music through headphones it plays out loud. I have tried various headphones with the phone, and tried in different Iphones. The port charges the phone ok so not sure if I have altered a setting. Help please

Phone will connect to headphones but not play audio through them. I have the same issue with a pair of headphones and a different brand of earphones, my iPhone will connect to them via Bluetooth but will not play sound through them. I can use the buttons on the devices to pause or play music but my phone will only play sound through it's speaker. Please help :/ iOS 26.1

Wired headphone problems So lately I’ve been trying to use my headphones to do things like listen to music, take calls, etc… And I’ve found that when there is no audio output my iPhone XR will show that headphones are connected, but after a few seconds of media playing through the headphones the phone will automatically switch to loud speaker, without pausing the media like it usually would. I have the apple wired headphones so there’s no cross branding, and everything was fine a couple of days ago. is there a way to fix this? is this a problem on apple’s end? will the world be taken over by toast? we may never know…
