Scam: Finish Mobile Service Setup. An eSIM from Cricket is ready to be set up on this iPhone


I don't even know who Cricket are, so this is obviously a scam. Finding very little info about this kind of thing in my searches, which is worrying.


I'm just ignoring it, since there doesn't seem to be any counter-measures in place.

Well, the message is not from Apple.


Cricket is a subsidiary of AT&T in the U.S. As you know, there have been massive security and data leaks at AT&T and you may likely be seeing one of the results in the message that has appeared on your phone.


Ignore and delete the message.
