M1 Pro Diagnostics stuck on "waiting for session"

My Macbook Pro M1 Pro (A2442) boots automatically to Diagnostics Mode, after connecting to wifi and selecting the language, it downloads something and when starting diagnostics it just gets stuck in a screen with a spinning circle and "Waiting for session..." message. On the bottom-left corner says "Serial number not set". I haven't found any solution and Apple "Genius" people seem to be useless.

Was this laptop repaired?

You can try a DFU firmware Revive which resets the security enclave & system firmware....you can try the DFU firmware Restore which destroys all data on the internal SSD & pushes a clean copy of macOS onto the internal SSD. I doubt either option will help, but that is all that you can do here. Even Apple won't be able to do anything without performing a hardware repair due to how their System Configuration Utility configures the Logic Board which includes setting the system serial number.
