iPhone 14 Pro Max won’t stay off when on usb charger
My iPhone 14 Pro Max turns on if I plug the charger in with it off. It charges faster when off.

First, it does not charge faster when off, if you are using the recommended 20 watt charger. And yes, it will turn on if you turn it off before plugging it in. However, if you are not charging wirelessly, you can turn it off AFTER it starts charging.
But what’s the point? If you follow best practice, and charge overnight, every night, with Optimized Charging turned on, it won’t matter how long it takes to charge. And if you turn on iCloud backup it will also automatically back up overnight.
