How do I hide an app on an iPhone?

i want to hide snapchat from my little sister, i hid the app in purchases, but it still shows up on her phone when she goes to my downloads. (Im part of family sharing) is there a way i can fix that from happening?

Hiding app purchases from my children I have family sharing turned on and sharing app purchases is great. However, I am divorced and would like to soon download a dating app, but down want my children to see the app when they look at shared app purchases. I followed the directions to “hide” a few apps, and that does hide them from my list. But from my child’s iPad, they can see the apps I hid. How do I prevent an app from being re-downloaded? Hi Community, My middle school aged child downloaded Snapchat and insta before I realized that family sharing allows children to download any apps that other members of the family(parents) have without getting approval. I fixed the setting to disallow this going forward and deleted the social media apps from the phone, but since these were downloaded to my child’s phone before, they can still be downloaded. Does anyone know if there is a setting that requires approvals for redownloads? Also, does anyone else feel that Apple owes it to us to offer parental control training courses since setting them up properly is so difficult? Surely a $1000 phone should get a little help from a human 😒 Thanks for your help. PS- Parental controls isn’t even a topic one can select when posting a question to the community.

deleting apps i have family sharing on my iphone, and my parent/organizer of the group added something so that i couldn’t delete apps on my own phone. they do not know what the did you complete the action, and i am trying to enable it from their phone. the only feature i have access to is the ‘remove from home screen’ option. i’d really appreciate it if someone could let me know what i can do to disable the problem. thank you.

You can delete it from her phone, and, using parental controls, block adding or updating apps. There’s no way to actually hide it.
