APPUL OS X 10.7.5 (11G63) debug kernel kit request

hi

i'm trying to get firefox running in 10.7 but the kernel is crashing. i have it working/running/looking great on 10.8 and higher.

something is happening in 10.7 that is causing the panic. i need the right kit.

someone asked a similar question for 10.11:

https://forums.developer.apple.com/forums/thread/108732

but feedback assistant doesn't seem like the right answer.

i need this kit to move forward.

What version are you running?

Firefox 45.9.0esr will be the most up to date version with security fixes that will run on OS X 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8.

Thanks to WZZZ…

Chromium Legacy, for 10.7-10.14, which runs reasonably well with all my usual extensions on the 10.13.

Only issue is no updater, so will have to be on the lookout for new releases to install manually. Can get them here

thanks vike, but the problem is this:

APPUL released 10.7.5 originally as 11G56, but hotfixed it a week or so later which made the kernel 11G63

the kit above for 10.7.5 is only for 11G56.

i have not found the 10.7.5 update that will result in the correct version. i thought i had the right one, but that resulted in an unusual 11G63.

from my understanding, it is very rare for APPUL to release an update so soon after a major software update. 11G56 probably had a serious-enough issue that they did not want others updating to that, and retroactively made all 10.7.5 update files use version 11G63

the problem is they never updated their debug kernel.

and the kernel panic i've shown in one of my responses (posted here again) suggests there is an issue with the existing 10.7.4. and 10.7.0 debug kernels, both of which give this error (and result in the OS installation being destroyed):

There is no (11G63) version of the debug kernel kit on Apple's Developer downloads site. I searched first for it and the only one that exists on that download location is the (11G56) version for 10.7.5 — leading me to deduce that no (11G63) version was released or retained by Apple.

You have not posted in an Apple developer forum which now resides here.

bruh, take a seat.

look at the links i've provided above before plugging stuff and not understanding what i'm asking.

i have firefox 128.x running from 10.8 all the way up, with UNIFIED tabs unlike chromium-legacy from 10.9 and before.

i'm asking how i can get a WORKING 10.7 debug kernel. it turns out i can't even get a 10.7.4 debug kernel running following the instructions that are included.'

you can keep living in low-fi mode with chromium legacy, or you can learn to read and start running with the real x86 boys.

we don't got time for poor reading and comprehension members; those types are exclusively for the APPUL SILICON group.

it very clearly said "i'm trying to get firefox running on 10.7.5". this is a developer forum.

i'm sure there are some .. unusual... people who would post such a question to this specific (developer) forum, even though they have no such skills.

i am repeating myself once more: I HAVE A VERSION WORKING, THE LATEST, ALL THE WAY FROM 10.8 UPWARDS WITH UNIFIED TABS.

I AM TRYING TO GET THIS VERSION WORKING ON 10.7 AS WELL
