iphone lost please help

someone please help me my brother lost his iphone 8 in iran and we are from canada we’re basically visiting family here and he basically left it outside somewhere and forgot about it. i tired to find it from the find my iphone thing and so far nothing has happened yet. is there anything else that i can do for it his only 14 years old he doesn’t deserve any of this stuff happening to him he losted it yesterday on the date july 20 and now it’s the 21 of july of 2024.
