Apps closes when I listening but close to home screen

When I am walking and listening to random app I want to go to Home Screen so I don’t not accidentally hit buttons. The app shuts down then I have to reopen it and start over. Can I lock the screen so this doesn’t happen? Or is this what’s supposed to happen? Thanks

iPhone unlocks to the 2nd app page randomly Hi, I have an iPhone 13 Mini that will sometimes unlock to the 2nd page of apps rather than the home page. I don't use the apps on the 2nd page often at all so it is not because I was using that page last. It happens many times randomly during the day, every single day. Is there any solution to this glitch? I have seen a few posts here and on reddit who advised to reset the home page but the other people with this problem said that it did not solve it. Why is my phone taking me to the 2nd page of apps when I unlock the device?

Press the Side button to lock the screen. That should not stop a streaming app.
