Apple Watch burn mark

a while ago I found out a red circle mark

on my wrist everyday at night.

It itches a lot but I did my best not to scratch. when it got worst I stopped using the watch to see if it was going to improve and it did.

yesterday I fell asleep wearing the watch and it burnt me like never before.

some kind of yellow fluid came out from my skin.

Did it happen to anyone else?

is it possible to return the watch and get the money back since it hurts me to wear my watch?

Ingo2711 is absolutely correct.

You asked if anyone else has and the answer is yes. It’s happened often enough the multiple physicians have posted videos on YouTube about it. Here’s a short 30 second one.

Probably the most common reason is an allergic reaction to nickel. Nickel is used in the hardening process of stainless steel, aluminum and sapphire crystal.

>>In fact, it is estimated that more than 18 percent of people in North America are allergic to nickel, including 11 million children in the U.S.<<

A visit to an allergist or dermatologist will get it cleared up. They may recommend you reduce contact, use a cover etc. Please let us know what the diagnosis is. 😀

Thank you for your support.

I stopped wearing the watch for a month and my skin recovered well.

Id like to give it a try one more time and schedule a visit to the dermatologist.

I think the information about Nickel is very helpful; so far I haven’t been diagnosed with any kind of allergies but I’ll request a test for allergies just to make sure.

I’ll let you know about the results.

thank you again!

have a great day!
