This links to https://iforgot.apple.com/, which requires to know the trusted phone number. I do not know the phone number, so I can't use this method unfortunately.

Honestly, I think you're out of luck. You could try contacting Apple directly but I doubt it will do much good.

The email you use as your Apple ID is just a login. Other than making sure that you maintain access to the email address for recovery purposes, you don't actually need to use the email address for anything. I'm not sure but you may even be able to use your current email address as a recovery email address even though it is listed as an Apple ID.

If it were me, I'd just use the Apple ID that you're using to log in here and move on. The amount of time you could expend on this is huge and, as noted, probably won't end the way you want.
