WIFi Preoblem

I recently updated my macbook to el capitan, and my WiFi had an X on it and said no hardware installed. I searched for ways on how to fix it, and I accidentally set the WiFi network/interface to “Make service inactive” and clicked the - button. Now my Macbook doesn’t have the Wi-Fi option when i try to add it. It only has the Ethernet, Bluetooth, VPN, PPPoE, and 6to4 but the Wi-Fi isn’t there. I don’t really know much about Macbooks, What do I do? Hoping to get a response

Shut down & restart your Mac. Then try adding the WiFi service again.

Open System Preferences > Network, click the little lock icon at the bottom of the list of services (enter your admin password). Then click the + button (right above the lock icon) to add a new Service. In the resulting window, select Interface > WiFi, give it a name and click Create.

If that doesn't work, shut down again and restart in Safe Mode; try adding the WiFi service while in Safe Mode. See Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support
