Connecting refurbished MacBook Air 11 to Wi-Fi
I ordered a refurbished MacBook Air 11 online i have never had one I am trying to connect it to WiFi I can only connect it to Ethernet

Where, exactly, did you buy it?
The last 11" BMA was discontinued in 2017. Those are obsolete. They can't run a supported version of macOS at all.
Best advice I can give you is return it to wherever you got it and get your money back.
