How do I use thunderbird to use my iCloud email account
I went through it completely as described in this article:

But unfortunately it doesn't work:
"The credentials you entered were rejected. Please check the settings"
I checked "Offline support" on or off.
Different spellings of my (iCloud) user name
firstname.lastname
v********@provider.de
Firstname
Firstname Lastname
What can I do?
