Not getting any notifications when I receive a text

Starting a couple of days ago I suddenly stopped receiving any sort of notifications when receiving a text. No sound, vibration, or pop up on screen to show that I received anything. I am still receiving notifications from all other apps. I have double checked that my message notifications are still on, that I haven’t hidden any alerts from any of my contacts, and that I’m not on DND. I have also tried turning my phone off and on again to no avail. I haven’t changed any settings recently, nor have I updated my phone recently. I’m at a loss, because it doesn’t seem like anybody else is having this issue.
