How to use the Shortcuts app to hide apps from the homepage and create a focus

I'm trying to help my parents who live on the East Coast to temporarily remove distracting apps from their homepage and pause notifications so they just clean up their phones. Because you can't share a focus and because they don't understand technology, i was hoping to use the Shortcuts app, share it with them and it'll automatically run. Is there a way to create a focus in Shortcuts so it's easy to share with other people not on my Apple account? Is there a way within Shortcuts to temporarily hide apps from the main page?
