Notes app taking up too much storage?

Hello? Can someone answer the questions that have been posted about this? Why is the notes app taking up so much storage on my phone (literally the number one app taking up storage on my phone right now). And no one is answering or looking into this issue in the other Apple community questions or posts. The notes app is also just deleting my notes randomly, I already lost 3 important notes and Apple support couldn’t do anything about it, like seriously? Im never getting them back F. An app that comes pre-installed on iPhones and it’s giving this many problems? Can someone please help me I don’t want to loose any more notes and I need the storage on my phone (I have 2T of iCloud storage why can’t the notes be backed up there? And yes they are “on” and supposed to be synced so what’s going on there) so frustrating I can’t get any help with this issue.
