so i updated to ios 18 when it first came out and i haven’t updated it to the current release of ios 18 but when i found out that it was really buggy, i wanted to switch back but i didn’t find an ios 17 backup to restore, so i was wondering if there is any other way to convert back to ios 17.

Downgrading from iOS Beta Software:
Remove Beta Software: iOS18 is beta and is still in the phase of development. So, uninstall it. You'd have to reset it to factory settings. So, prior to upgrading to it, know to always create a backup of your iPhone, that way you can have something to restore your iPhone from, if you decide to downgrade. Without a backup, you are just starting fresh. Any data saved in iCloud will be OK, but data on the device will be lost.
