Why is Apple Pay not processing my payment after updating info?

I have updated my shipping address/contact info yet my apple pay and my wallet still wont process a payment without giving me UPDATE SHIPPING CONTACT. How can I fix this?

OK, check these three locations please. The last one is the one you already checked.


Each card also has an address associated with the account. Please follow this path;


iPhone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > tap card to edit > tap Billing address > tap edit (upper right corner of screen) edit necessary changes


iPhone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > Shipping Address (edit or delete address


iPhone > Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Transaction Defaults (scroll down) > Shipping Address > Edit (upper right corner of screen) > either Enter New Shipping Address, add new address or edit/delete addresses

Yes, you use payment methods (debit and credit cards) that you’ve added to the Wallet app to make payments using Apple Pay. When you iPhone connects to the merchants transaction terminal, personal information may be transmitted to the merchants terminal. Please follow the path to see the information that might be shared with the merchant,


iPhone > Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Transaction Defaults (scroll down) > you’ll see shipping address, your name, email and phone number. Not all information is shared. The type of transaction determines the need for the merchant to have all that information. At a minimum, they would receive your name and probably email. Your shipping address and phone number would be shared if your purchase required shipping to a physical address.


Do you see your Hide My Email Address in the field indicated above?

an option HIDE MY EMAIL ADDRESS is not available. Under Transaction Defaults it show the default card, the shipping address, the email and the phone number. If I click into the section of the email address there is a section that says HIDE MY EMAIL but under that it states forwards to and then provides my email address but I do not have that section check marked. I do however have a check mark in the email address default line
