Hello, currently I am with iPhone 11 Pro iOS 14.7.1 Will I loose my data if I update the phone with the latest software, as the one now is not allowing me to use the aps... Also is the one which bought the phone. Am I gonna loose my photos if I do such a major update? Should I do anything more , should I do backup or no needed?

If the data on the phone is important to you, you will have your phone set up to back up every day automatically to iCloud. That way, you always have an up to date copy of everything on your phone in case the phone decides to fall to the floor or take a dive into the sink......or something goes wrong during a new software update.

You need to increase the iCloud storage capacity. There are different levels of plans.

Do not make any major chances on your phone......like a software update.....until you have backups set up and working.
Some day.....you cannot know when.....you will be very glad that you have a current backup of your phone.
I tried and it says that the memory in not enought for backup.. So o should better not update the ios???
