Will updating to iOS 26 erase my data on iPhone 16 Pro?

If I update my iPhone 16 Pro to iOS 26, will my data be erased? I don't care about bugs, I only care about data.

No. But it can cause issues and have errors and problems since it's a pre-production version and there will be no support for it on these forums. Unless you are a registered developer you should not install it and you should definitely not install it on your every day device.


You will need to deal with any issues arising from it on your own.
