You should NEVER install beta software on a device you rely on. Beta software is intended for testing. It is inherently unstable. Data loss is a very real possibility.
No just make sure you make a backup before you update, My phone wont turn on and will have to go to apple for a fix but I have a 15 Pro not the 16.
The update is for Apple Developers. Are you an Apple Developer? If not, there will be no support for you in the event of any problems.
You do understand that Apple recommends that you install the update on a spare phone, correct?
