USB-C charging cable with 5 metre length

I would like to get a USB-C charging cable for a MacBooK Pro with a minimum 5 metre length.

It will be used with the original charger.

Is this length technically possible to effectively charge the MacBook and is there such a cable available, I'm in the UK.

The spec sheet has this:

Apple MacBook Pro "Core i5" 2.3 13" Mid-2017.

This model has a "54.5-watt-hour lithium-polymer battery".

It has a 61W USB-C Power Adapter.

Hey!

A 5-meter USB-C cable might not effectively charge your MacBook Pro due to power loss over such a long distance. More cable = more resistance which leads to less voltage reaching your Macbook. For reliable charging, look for a high-quality cable up to 3 meters long that supports 100W power delivery. You can find these from brands like Anker. I would recommend using these shorter cables In combination with an outlet extension cord to reach the place you want to charge.
