iPad Pro 12.9" M2, 8GB Ram Overheating

Hello everyone, I've been getting this issue for a while, I'm a Photographer, I use my iPad Pro M2 for all my photo editing only on Lightroom, after like 30 min of use almost the full body of the iPad gets really hot, sometimes It's even hard to keep on the hands, most of the time I have to stop what I'm doing, Lock it and wait for it to cool down. Is this Normal or a common issue?

I have an iPad Pro 12.9” M1 and edit extensively in Lightroom on my iPad. iPads are meant to get warm (hot is a relative term) because it only has passive cooling. In other words, no fans. The back is a large heat sync. The materials used in construction conduct heat away from the internal components and transfer the heat to the back of the unit, thereby cooling the internal.

I use mine with Apple Keyboard, which actually insulates the back from cooling ambient air. My iPad sees almost daily Lightroom use (with Apple Pencil) in my air conditioned office, air conditioned home and air conditioned pub and has suffered no ill effects in the nearly 3 years I’ve owned it. I would not use it outside in our 90° plus Florida heat and humidity.
