By deleting a blocked caller’s #, do they automatically get UNblocked?

I, too, have hundreds of blocked numbers on my iPhone.

Between the Non-Profits, Political,& SCAM CALLS all vying for my Extremely Limited retirement income, penetrating all my “Do Not Call” registrations, they create a Yuuuge waste of my digital storage space, as well as my time!!!

After blocking the above “Nuisance Numbers”, if I then Delete them, do they then become UN-blocked?

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 17

Blocked entries have ~no effect on storage.

Removing a block will re-enable calls from that source.

Usual path is silencing unknown callers, as listed here: Block or avoid unwanted calls on iPhone - Apple Support

Sift through the voicemail, snd delete and block those silenced callers as needed, or return the calls and add the callers to contacts as necessary.
