iPhone 15 pro max flashing light only visible on security camera

I have been the victim of a monumental cyber crime security hack. I’ve had iPhone 14, & 15 hacked through WiFi hack and google account take over and now I believe my new phone 15 pro max.

I was reviewing my security cam footage and my phone that was in my hand was flashing. Not visible to the naked eye. What the **** is this does anyone know.

iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 17

What else to do...

Troubleshooting a Hacked Apple ID:

I. Troubleshooting Forgotten Apple ID Credentials:

Use these Links:

I. Troubleshooting a Compromised Account:

Do Two Things:

A. Verify Your Devices:

Verify that you the devices logged in to your account or officially yours, by using this link: Check your Apple ID Device List to See where you're Signed in - Apple Support

B. Consider Modifying your Credentials:

Having been stollen, someone likey has your credentials. So, by all means, consider modifying them, starting with a new password.

C. Contact Apple Support:

Contact Apple Support, asking them to assist you with logging in to this account. The Apple ID would be an eMail address. Perform a trail & error login session with the Apple Rep, while on the phone with them, prior to ending the call. If need be, perform a screensharing session with them, so they can see this firsthand, form your perspective.  See my user tip: Screenshare your iPhone with the Camera App Enabled to Easily Converse Over-the-Phone with Apple Support - User Tip

Troubleshooting a Hacked iPhone:

I. Don't Jailbreak your iPhone:

The only way an iPhone can be hacked is if it has been jain broken, and then only way to know if it has been hacked it to know that it has been jailbroken.

II. So, who is the seller?

A. If not Apple, then it almost seems like a scam. So, take this back to the seller. This is the site the seller should have used prior to selling it to you: Go here: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple SupportThe seller should have known better.

B. If Apple, then it seems you have a faulty device. So, ask Apple to have this diagnosed and serviced. You have a one-year, out-of-the-box, limited-warranty with this.

Apple Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

III. Troubleshooting a Hacked iPhone:

Set this iPhone Up Anew:

If you want to get things safely blocked out, then reset the iPhone to factory settings, as if you were to sell it. Perform as instructed here, including the iCloudlogout: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. Set it up you child's device, and then enable Screen Time.
