M1 Mackbook Air wakes up automatically after 1min while being on Lock Screen
I own a M1 MacBook Air, which is currently running Sonoma 14.5.
Last year I had faced an issue, wherein the 'Option' key was getting pressed without being actually pressed physically. I observed it by enabling Virtual Keyboard on screen, which was leading to other issues such Safari downloading .html instead of opening webpages, MacBook restarts on it own when shutdown was attempted, if I close one tab in safari, it keeps that tab open and closes all other tabs. Finally it was resolved after started matchbook in 'Safe Mode'.(It was running MAC OS Monetary back then)
This year problem has started again, Initially I was suspecting humidity/ moisture to be a reason. Tried hot blower on keyboard (Did not work). Read a post and disabled 'Option' key by going into settings --> Modifier keys. It ishelping me to get the basic work done on mackbook but is not a permanent solution. I do have an external keyboard which is working fine.
Also, i have notice that If i keep the lid open and lock my macbook, keyboard backlight and display wakes up automatically after an interval of 1min 5Sec (Observed it for 10 mins with a stopwatch) which is draining the battery. Also unable to shutdown my mackbook, it is restarting instead of shutting down.
Any suggestion ?? I have removed Logitech+ application (read it in some article, but still no joy)
