How do I calibrate my Apple Watch to track my Activity accurately?

What good is the Apple Watch when it doesn’t record your steps? It will not start tracking my steps until I am 1/4 of the way through it:

I’m sharing the link below to an Apple Support article that explains how to calibrate your Apple Watch for improved accuracy. You may also want to delete the current calibration information if you believe it to be inaccurate. The calibration algorithm is a smart algorithm and it learns as you walk at different paces.


I improved my calibration by going on a series of 25 to 30 minute walks at different paces/speeds. I try not to vary my stride as that seems to decrease the accuracy.
