I feel d u m b…… I downloaded iOS 18 without backup on my MAIN phone. I searched it up and it said I needed to erase my phone and restart….Is there any other way?? Someone please help!

As you've been told a few times now, there is NO other way. It's a usually a good idea to read what is required before you do something.

Really wasn't beating you up. But you had asked more than once if there was another way, and yet after being told by others, you asked again. We ALL make mistakes. If this is the worst one you ever make, count your blessings. And IdrisSeabright is correct. You should be able to update to the publicly released version when it is released WITHOUT losing your data.
That’s right if you didn’t make a backup before you won’t recovery your data and now you have to start the iPhone as new iPhone

Nope, there is no other way. Some lessons are more painful than others.

I believe you will be able to update to the commercial release at that time. But, to be honest, as I've never loaded a beta, I have no personal experience with this.
