Invalid Card error Apple Pay

I recently had an iPhone XR where I had a debit card on apple pay, no issues. I recently got an iPhone 13 from my sister who also successfully had apple pay on the phone, she wiped the phone and I loaded my sim and info from my previous phone and now I can't add my same debit card to my apple wallet. I've tried via the wallet app, in settings and on my bank app and it always says "invalid card". I've contacted my bank and they see no issues on their end, it's not the phone since my sister was previously able to use apple pay and it's not my card because it's not expired and works perfectly in real life and on apple pay on my previous phone.

Any suggestions??

Have you checked with your bank yet. Previously, there were no Invalid Card errors. That is a basic error generally caused by a card not being activated by the bank. But this error has started popping up in just the last week, since the CloudStrike LT issue last Friday. I’m wondering if your bank is having residual issues caused by CloudStrike. I’m going to suggest contacting your bank and trying to get through to the Apple Pay support team, rather than the standard customer support team. You may need to ask for a supervisor and ask for them to escalate the issue.
