How can I turn off the Proximity Sensor on my iPhone?

I don’t like it ! How do I turn it off? It’s annoying!

iPhone Proximity Sensor not working properly in iOS 18.2 My iPhone 11 Pro’s proximity sensor is not working properly at time to time. When I answer a call, the screen goes black as the sensor is activated, but it sometimes stays black. This issue occurs intermittently, making it difficult to track. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to Settings > Screen Time > Screen Distance, and turn it off. You will obviously need the Screen Time passcode if one has been set.
