I am unable to add Cards to my Wallet to setup Apple Pay.

I’ve been trying to set up my Apple wallet to use Apple Pay. It says invalid card I’ve called my bank & they said there is no issue. What is the next step?

Have you received the terms and conditions and agreed to them and returned (electronically) them? Generally, a card not valid is failing the initial Check Card Availability API, card issuer checks account, checks address and other information on file, then forwards information to TSP (Token Service Provider). If bank fails account, it comes back invalid.

Do the banks website or mobile app have the ability to add the card to Apple Wallet? This bypasses a lot of the security the bank does if added from the Wallet app.
