lost mode while sleeping by mistake?

"lost mode while sleepokg: I just woke up in the middle of the night and found some emails that said “lost mode enable” and “my iphone has been found”. Also 'all cards were suspended'. I would like to know if is possible that I did this unknowiling by mistake while I was sleeping. Seems weird that all this happened in my sleep. I just changed my apple id password just in case. Somebody could do this remotely?"

Lost Mode iPhone Issues:

1. Go Here: Rendering cards unusable with Apple Pay - Apple Support
2. Scroll to: Suspending, removing, and erasing cards
3. As it Reads: "Users can suspend Apple Pay on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch by placing their devices in Lost Mode using Find My.

So, you may have intermittently rolled over it a few times, while sleeping, placing it in lost mode, or someone hacked into account, if not your self, and did this. So, give Apple Sport a call, and secure your accouter, storing with a New password.

Troubleshooting a Hacked Account:

I. Getting In to your Apple Account:

You need to get into your Apple Account. So, contact Apple Support. If you have a hacked iCloud account, then ask the Apple Rep if they can help you add Two-Factor Authentication. Ask them to assist you with changing your password to what it should be. Important: Perform a trial-&-error login session, prior to ending the call.

• Proceed from there, as necessary
• Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

II. Secure your Info:

If concerned for device access, then (A)verify your devices, and (B)secure your account. Open a new eMail addressee d use that for your Apple ID.

2. Modify your Credentials:

Having been stollen, someone lily has your credentials. So, by all means, modifying them.

• Modify: your login credentials (Using Both a New eMail and a New Password for each and all sites)
• Associate: a different method of payment to your account
• Enable: Two-Factor Authentication for Apple ID and for all other accounts that have such an applicable option

III. Report Items to Apple:
