iTunes login popup never goes away

The "Login to your apple account" keeps popping up, when I start iTunes, when I try to close iTunes - always. It has made iTunes unusable. This question has been asked many, many times, and everyone treats it like it's an account issue. It is an iTunes issue. Please actually read. On Catalina 10.15.3, MacBook Pro.

  1. I do not want to login. I'm not trying to use the iTunes store. I don't have purchased items. I am literally trying to play mp3's on my hard drive.
  2. If I log in with my credentials, it just pops up again. Yes, my credentials are correct. I can log in to this site with those credentials. Also, if I put them in wrong it says "Your credentials don't match". I have put in my correct password and "logged in" at this pop up at least 40 times in a row. Guess what? It just keeps popping up.
  3. If I sit and just press cancel 100 times - it still keeps popping up.
  4. I have tried logging out of iTunes. I have tried restarting the machine. I've tried resetting NVRAM.
  5. No, updating to a newer version does not solve the issue. I have seen this reported in almost every single version.

Can someone provide an actual answer please?
