20 minute video saved in my photos has now suddenly vanished.
yesterday, I recorded a 20-minute long video using the camera app
after I finished the video, I checked to see it in my gallery (this is how I know it was exactly 20 minutes long)
an hour later I check back to see it still in my gallery at 5:00 AM.
the next day, the video is gone. I checked recently deleted, hidden files ETC. I know for certain I didn’t accidentally delete it, and I consistently change my phone password to ensure nobody else is on it, and sleep with my door locked.
i had checked my recent iCloud backups, the last was from 5:20 AM. I am lost on where the video went, it is no longer in my gallery, in my hidden files, my recently deleted. It’s gone. I have heard of 20-minute videos not saving properly but usually it doesn’t just save for an hour then suddenly disappear. Is there any possible way to get it back? I am not sure how to return to the backup at 5:20 to possibly get the video back. It makes no sense how it can possibly disappear from my gallery. I need to have this video as it is very important to me. Any advice on how to retrieve it? It couldn’t have possibly entirely disappeared after being saved for an hour already.
