MacOS "Batteries" widget does not show Apple Watch

On my MacBook Pro, the widget called "Batteries" does not display my Apple Watch as it does on the same widget on my iPhone. On the MacOS widget, it only shows 3 things: my MacBook Pro, my AirPods Pro (case), and my AirPods Pro (pods). However, it should be showing my Apple Watch too, as it does on my iOS "Batteries" widget. I have tried restarting all of said devices, turning WiFi off/on, turning Bluetooth off/on, removing and re-adding widgets, etc. All devices are registered to my iCloud and all devices are running the latest OS, respectively.

This issue has been described numerous times by other users for some time. It must be addressed.

The battery widget only shows devices that are connected by Bluetooth. You can see this when you go to the screen for adding widgets. It says, "View the status of your Mac and connected Bluetooth accessories." As your Watch is not connected by BT to your Mac, it's not going to show there.

Refer to an older question related to iWatch Battery in Sonoma Battery Widget

Apple Watch in battery widget Macbook Pro - Apple Community

I have an Apple iWatch Series 9 ( iOS 10.5 ) that is able to Unlock my M2 Machine with Sonoma 14.5 it the two are near.

Have Tested adding the iWatch to the Widget - not go

I can not testify that this is by an Apple Design or not

Though, the iWatch Battery does show up on my iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 17.5.1

Hey PRP_53,
While I appreciate your suggestion, I did already see that older question and its responses. There is still no solution to this issue. It says: “Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question” — so that’s just what I did :)

This issue remains open and unresolved.

You are correct in that the Header reads as you have mentioned

Though, if one takes a look at the 13 Posting beneath the Header

To help expedite this matter, have included 2 screen shot I sense are relevant to your question
