Hacked or Scam?

While on Facebook on my iPhone I clicked on a 90s where are they now site and a pop up says your phone has been hacked and everything on your actions on the phone are being tracked by a hacker. Action required immediately. And option to select”ok” and no way to exit.

What steps should be taken?

I got a pop up saying I was hacked. So I was just online minding my own business, I typed in the url for YouTube and it took me to a random website. There was a pop up saying that your iPhone has been hacked and someone is tracking everything I do (I was on my ipad but I have a phone). Mind you I’m a minor and a nobody. I wouldn’t take this seriously, but it didn’t offer a solution at all. I’m pretty sure this is some sort of scam, but I’m just paranoid and need validation that I’m not being tracked. I put nothing into this website except visit it.

Got a “hacked” pop up on my iPhone I clicked on an article on Facebook and got a pop up with this message:” Your device Apple iPhone has been hacked. Your device needs to be restored immediately. Otherwise your Facebook, WhatsApp, instagram data will be compromised.” It had a background webpage that resembled Apple Care. Is that a phishing scam? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

This, and 99.999999% of other messages like it are scams.

If you cannot get out, turn the phone off and then restart.
